Mantis mantis flying free

Window bug molted into adulthood last weekend.

Since we only got one male this year, and there's a beautiful female in the bush outside the other store, yesterday he was released into her territory. With any luck we'll find some ootheca there later.

Thanks for eating all the bees! You will be missed.

FWIW, popped a plump strawberry into the ladybug colony this morning. Somebody told me they love grapes so I figured why not give it a chance?
