Better six years late than never

The store finally got a much needed electrical overhaul this week. The wiring panel was an out-of-code nightmare but it's now been professionally redone.

Sad to say - well maybe not so sad - but I chopped the rose bush and winter tomatoes to make room for the electrician. (Whiteflies say, what?) It looks odd to see the "growing wall" of the store emptier than it's been since we opened.

Ootheca in the house!

A friend was kind enough to donate three ootheca. One was deployed and two others kept in the fridge.

What we need now are three dozen hungry babies. That'll take care of the whiteflies!
